On January 26, 2008, the Presidium of the RKF approved the standard for the coloring of HARLEQUIN AND BLACK & END TEN in Russia by the Poodle breed. Now you can officially breed these extraordinary, beautiful, but very complex in obtaining color. The first dwarf poodles harlequin color appeared in our cattery "Gently Born" in May 2006.

The National Poodle Club of Russia has done a great job to make the harlequin and black and white colors officially adopted in our country, as in Germany, the Czech Republic and other countries. We, as best we could, tried to help in everything. It so happened that Gently Born is the pioneer of harlequin coloring in Russia and we want to say a big thank you to RR Khomasuridze, Yu.N.Shuko and YA Gavrilova for their great work in resolving this issue.

In 2009, our kennel was the first in Russia to buy a dwarf poodle abroad, a black and white girl, from abroad, in this nursery, this most interesting color in our cattery will begin.
