FALSE PRESENT OR THESE FALSE?
They are two-color, white and gray, from pureblooded parents and are superbly stacked. But they do not have the right to a pedigree. Their ancestors undoubtedly had a hidden suit: black in
black spots or white in white.

EVEN NONSPETSALIST KNOWS: a two-colored poodle is as unusual as a striped Dalmatian. In gray spots on a white background, it has all the traditional attributes, including
including the purity of the breed, except for the uniformity of the suit.

The selection carried out by Dr. Pierre Kursan, resulting in a two-color poodle, provided two achievements. First, the animal causes sincere affection from all who see it. Secondly,
we have to agree that the one-color white poodle actually turns out to be two-colored, although nobody suspects it.

Poodle Club of France carefully follows all the offspring, today there can be no question of recognizing two-color poodles.
Until recently, only traditional colors - black, white or brown - were recognized.
English specialists persuaded the French to agree to appropriate the "title" of the poodle to gray and apricot individuals. Such a rigorous approach has its own reason. At least, it provides clarity of judgment.
But there are inconveniences. Pierre Kursan remarked: "If Mr. Doberman lived in France, he would never have brought his dog."

Two-color poodles by Pierre Kursan were born as a result of twice violated rules.
The first violation occurred ten years ago: a gray, one-color poodle Jasmine seduced his white neighbor. Both thoroughbred descendants of one family tree marked with medals. The consequence of this sin could be different colors, but nobody expected
the appearance of a pair of two-color puppies - a dog and knots.

"If I were a consistent dog breeder, I would have complied with official recommendations and drown puppies," Pierre Kursan announced. Grandfather Jasmine, American poodle Siridan, the famous champion of the competitions of his time, had in the pedigree various colors - black, blue, gray and white - and an undiscovered bias. And the grandson of Jasmine, when examined closely, showed tiny white spots on the 2nd and 3rd fingers
hind paw.

The dog-farmer brought these grown-up puppies (brother and sister). Three children were born to Tambdz and Tressi. All three are two-colored. Dolphin and Dolby were clearly spotted. The third was
is too small, and consequently, had the right to life, but not to reproduce the offspring. All three were knots, thus, out of five two-color poodles, only the only one turned out to be a male. It was the brother of one of the bitches and the father of the other three.

Genetic material should be protected from the appearance of strange individuals. Therefore, the next year, Tressy, the mother of three puppies, accepted the attention of a black thoroughbred poodle. She brought two different-sexed monochrome black puppies. The matured dog was introduced to his two-colored step-sister, Delfin, and they had two dichotomous two-sexed puppies:
Eco and Eshalotta.
Finally, the last stage: Eco and his mother Dolphins
the last two-colored puppy of Gofrett appeared.

Having created this family, built on inbreeding, Pierre Kürsan asked for a consultation with genetics from Toulouse to Professor Kenek to understand which genes provided the appearance of such "monsters".

The first conclusion was this: the two-color color is inherited, and its transmission does not depend on the sex of the dog. To understand this, you need to imagine a white background with black spots.
The transmission of black spots is dominant, the white background is recessive. Thus, all the offspring of the black poodle inherited black spots on a black background. They were hidden by "spotted" dogs.
Similarly, among the "pure" white poodles there were also hidden-two-color ones, which can not be noticed, because they have white spots on a white background.

Finally in the case of this two-colored family, produced from Jasmine, a high degree of blood relationship could threaten the appearance of a completely spoiled progeny. But that did not happen. Eshalotta, despite the fact that it is tiny (1.5 kg), meets all the selection criteria that make an exhibition animal from a poodle. This absence of flaws, despite the multiple related mixing, testifies, without a doubt, to the exceptional genetic power of the American ancestor. Family breeding had only one unfortunate consequence - a decline in fertility in each subsequent generation.

It remains to find a good two-tone male in order to complete the consolidation of a new variety of poodles.
